Let's start with the Maintenance agreement. It's VERY important.

This is very important part of making sure you get the full wear and performance out of your tires.

If you purchased a set of new tires from Smith's Tire Sales, this agreement is free. Its our way of saying thank you.

No matter what brand you bought , they come with this free service for the life of the full set.

It includes:

1. Free Rotation (Recommended every 5,000-8,000 miles to uphold treadwear warranty). The technician will move front tires to rear and rear tires to front unless otherwise directed.

2. Free Balance (Recommended every time tires are rotated.) Technicians will balance rear tires as they are moved to the front to ensure smooth vehicle operation.

3. Free flat repair. As long as the tire is repairable with either a patch, bead seal, or valve stem (sensor stems excluded), the technician will repair the puncture for free and get you back on the road. All non-repairable tires fall under the purchasable Enhance Road Hazard Reimbursement Program instead of the maintenance agreement.

This is where it gets a little more tricky. We understand that you are buying your tires from us and we want to help you any way we can.

This is why road hazard varies greatly based on the package you purchase.

You will have an option with every new tire you purchase to include the "Enhance Road Hazard Package."

Should you opt to decline this protection, you will still have free flat repair for the life of the tire(s).

Should the tire receive damage that is repairable to Tire Manufactures Association standards, Smiths Tire Sales will repair it free of charge to you.

Should the tire not be repairable, in this case, you will have to purchase a new tire.

Should you opt to purchase the Enhance Road Hazard Package, you will also receive free flat repair  for the life of the tires. Should the tire receive damage that is repairable to Tire Manufactures Association standards, Smiths Tire Sales will repair it free of charge to you.

Should the tire not be repairable, in this case, you will receive full or partial compensation for the casing.

If the damage occurs in the first year or 10,000 miles (whichever comes first), you will receive a new tire, free of charge.

After one year or 10,000 miles (whichever comes first), you will receive compensation for the unused portion of the casing. Smiths Tire Sales will measure your remaining tread and you will be reimbursed for the unused portion.

And finally, the treadwear warranty...

YOU CAN ALSO ASK ABOUT OUR ENHANCE "ROAD HAZARD REIMBURSEMENT PLAN". FOR ONLY $10.00 PER TIRE, YOU CAN HAVE PIECE OF MIND NO MATTER WHERE YOU TRAVEL.

We know you aren't a tire expert. That's what you pay us for right? Well, to explain your warranty and the best way to get the most our of your purchase, we will explain the maintenance and warranty that you are getting free of charge with your purchase.

We hope this helps you understand how to get the most out of your purchase. We will see you on the first rotate and balance!

These are all very fine questions and worth asking. Many tire retail stores simply sell you the tire and they are done. That's not us.

Others will charge you extra for after-installation services and warranties. Luckily, that's not us either.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

CONGRATULATIONS

You just purchased a set of new tires from Smith's Tire Sales!

What comes next you ask???

What all do I get with my tires?

Now, we can talk about the road hazard warranty.

You new tires are designed to fit you. Some are made for longevity, some are made for traction. Make sure and express to your Smiths Tire Representative what you want from your tires.

If your tire carries a manufacturer treadwear warranty, it will be honored by Smiths Tire Sales as long as the maintenance agreement has been followed.

Should you have an issue with premature wear, Smiths Tire Sales will inspect the tire(s) in question in order to verify that it is due to a manufacturers defect that these tires didn't provide full tread life.

Many things can also affect how a tire wears also. If it is determined that an issue with your automobile has caused the premature wear of the tires, then warranty is not possible.

The following will exclude treadwear warranty coverage:

Wear due to improper vehicle alignment including but not limited to,    uneven, cupping, irregular, spotty, and feathering wear. • Damage due to:  a) Rim irregularities or rim damage.  b) Snow chains.  c) Vehicle mechanical problems, including brake problems, and vehicle wheel alignment.  d) Extreme temperature exposure.  e) Negligent and abusive driving such as tire spinning, or racing.  f) Improper tire storage.  g) Automotive accident.  h) Chemical corrosion or fire.  i)  Use contrary to the vehicle manufacturer’s tire recommendations.  j) Improper stud size and/or installation.  k) Improper mounting or demounting.  l)  Alteration: such as, but not limited to, adding a white inlay on blackwall, tread regrooving, tire truing or siping, or adding sealant materials to the tire.  m) Weather checking/cracking: not covered after 24 months from the date of purchase.

If it is determined that a manufacturers defect is responsible for the loss of treadwear, Smiths Tire Sales will warranty the unused part of the tire(s) in question. Customer will be responsible to pay an equal percentage to what has been worn off tire to get a new tire. If you have worn 50% off, then you will only pay 50% of the tires current market value.

If tires are Ironman brand, tire(s) can be replaced same day if it is in stock.

If another brand, the tire(s) will need to be sent in for adjustment. This could take 2-3 weeks, depending on manufacturer. If new tire is desired before adjustment period expires, customer will have to pay full amout for new tire(s) and receive credit back from Smiths Tire Sales when manufacturer releases credit to us.
